Possible challengers for Gunther at WWE WrestleMania 40
A gauntlet match is scheduled next week to determine Gunther’s next challenger for WrestleMania 40. Two potential challengers—Sami Zayn and Chad Gable—stand out as possible contenders to win the match and face the ring general at WrestleMania 40.
Out of 21 title defences, Gunther has been successful for 20 of them.

Fans are familiar with the history between Chad Gable and Gunther. They clashed twice back in August and September. Gable secured a victory over Gunther via countout in their first encounter, marking Gunther’s first main roster loss. This led to an Intercontinental Championship match between them. This time, Gunther retained his title and defeated Chad Gable in front of his family.
