Former Intercontinental Champion Gunther has broken his silence on the major fallout of his faction, The Imperium. In the latest edition of WWE RAW, Imperium members Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci were seen in action.

Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci were facing The New Day, consisting of Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. The New Day interrupted Imperium leader Gunther as he was addressing the fans about his future plans. This heated confrontation led to a tag team match with Gunther watching the match from the announcer’s table.

Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci, however, faced a loss as The New Day managed to defeat them. Following the loss, Gunther, who was angry with the results, threw his chair and gave a stern look to Ludwig Kaiser. He then walked out on his faction member backstage. What followed was a shocking scene.

Ludwig Kaiser, who had been helping Giovanni Vinci after the loss, suddenly attacked Vinci. Kaiser viciously beat down his partner, Giovanni Vinci, backstage. Gunther, who was standing in the gorilla position, gave a smile to Kaiser for his shocking action.

Recently, Gunther took to Twitter to react to Ludwig Kaiser’s attack on Giovanni Vinci, where he referred to Vinci as a weak link.

It appears that Gunther has given his approval for Ludwig Kaiser’s actions and acknowledges Kaiser for showing a different side of himself.

Gunther’s new objective in WWE after WrestleMania 40 loss

Gunther made his first appearance on WWE RAW after his shocking loss at WWE WrestleMania 40 against Sami Zayn. On WWE RAW, Gunther addressed his loss and revealed his next objective to achieve in WWE.

The Ring General announced his participation in the upcoming King of the Ring tournament. WWE’s next premium live event is set to take place in Saudi Arabia on May 25th, titled King and Queen of the Ring. Gunther shared his thoughts on the tournament, expressing his plans to win the King of the Ring tournament. However, he also mentioned his interest in the Intercontinental Championship and that he has set his sights on other championships as well.

It appears Gunther is planning to enter the main event scene. It will be interesting to see if The Ring General can win the tournament, as Drew McIntyre and Xavier Woods have already announced their participation.
