Guns N’ Roses have postponed their Saturday night concert at St. Louis’ Busch Stadium due to an unspecified illness, the band announced.

“Gunners, the concert scheduled for St. Louis on September 9 has been postponed due to illness,” the band tweeted Friday night. “Hang on to your tickets – fans who are unable to make the rescheduled date will be eligible for a refund.”

While it’s unclear the exact nature of the illness, Axl Rose has struggled with vocal issues at recent shows, with the singer apologizing to fans following a Saratoga Springs, New York gig where his voice problems were noticeable to the point that the concert was cut short by a song or two.

“My apologies I was a little horse .. Fun night, Great Crowd!! Great Venue!! N’ great to be back!! Again my apologies and thank you!!,” Rose tweeted after that September 1 gig.

As the Riverfront Times noted, Saturday’s postponement continues Guns N’ Roses’ strained relationship with the city of St. Louis, the site of the infamous “Riverport Riot” in July 1991 where an in-show melee resulted in Rose facing criminal charges. Guns N’ Roses, in all of their iterations, wouldn’t return to the city until 2017.

Whoever’s ill, they’ll only have a few days to recuperate as GNR is next scheduled to perform Tuesday, September 12 in Knoxville, followed soon after by shows in Hollywood, Florida and Atlanta’s Music Midtown fest. The band will remain on the road through October 16, making stops at both the Aftershock and Power Trip festivals.
