Gunna might just be flirting as hard as his drip.

The Young Stoner Life rapper took to his Instagram stories on Monday, commenting on the stand-out “Have Mercy” performance from Chlöe—half of sister duo Chloe X Halle—at the MTV Video Music Awards.

“It’s the [tongue emoji] for me,” Gunna wrote, reposting an Instagram photo that Chlöe shared of herself licking the mic mid-performance. But as Chlöe puts it in her original caption, she had no idea she even licked the mic until after her debut solo performance last week.

“i swear i didn’t even know i licked the mic til after i watched the performance back 💀💀🤣😅☺️,” she wrote.

Bailey has yet to respond to Gunna, but the response to her debut solo single surely hasn’t gone unnoticed. Since its release on Sept. 10, “Have Mercy” has earned over 15.6 million YouTube views, and the track itself debuted at No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 on Monday. The track marks her highest-charting single ever, as Chloe X Halle’s “Do It” previously peaked at No. 63 last year.

Speaking of rappers, Chlöe recently took to social media to shoot down rumors that she is dating Future.

“I don’t know where the rumor came from,” she said. “Someone asked if me and Future talk? He’s a wonderful fella, I love his music. I’ve never spoken to him a day in my life.”
