‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ Cast Guide: Who Voices Rocket’s Friends? (Photos)

The Guardians of the Galaxy are back for their third and final adventure together.

The original team has grown to include Nebula, Kraglin, an alternate-universe Gamora and Cosmo the Space Dog. They band together to help one of their own — Rocket — in his time of need.

In addition to The High Evolutionary, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’s” big bad, there is a slew of furry friends — Lylla the otter, Teefs the walrus, and Floor the rabbit.

Peter Quill/Star-Lord (Chris Pratt)

A half-human, half-Celestial raised by space pirates, Quill has found a new family with the Guardians but longs for deeper personal connections.

Actor Chris Pratt got his big break in the NBC comedy “Parks and Recreation.” He’s starred in the “Jurassic World” franchise and voiced Mario in “The Super Mario Bros. Movie.”

Gamora (Zoe Saldaña)

This Gamora originates from an alternate timeline — one where she did not fall in love with Quill. Are they fated to be together in any universe?

Actor Zoe Saldaña has starred in the “Avatar” and “Star Trek” film franchises. She played Ryan Reynolds’ love interest in last year’s “The Adam Project.”

Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista)

A fearsome warrior who dedicated his life to avenging the death of his wife and daughter, Drax must find new motivation after Thanos’ defeat.

Actor David Bautista started his career as a professional wrestler. He recently starred in “Glass Onion” and the psychological horror film “Knock at the Cabin.”

Nebula (Karen Gillan)

Gamora’s adoptive sister is slowly coming into her own after being freed from Thanos’ manipulation and abuse.

Actor Karen Gillan got her big break playing one of Doctor Who’s companions. She’s also starred in the “Jumanji” movies.

Mantis (Pom Klementieff)

Mantis revealed that she is Peter’s half-sister at the end of the holiday special. She’s eager to explore the relationship.

Groot (voiced by Vin Diesel)

Rocket’s best friend sacrificed himself in the first film, only to be reborn as a young plant. Now past his “adolescence,” Groot is a surly young adult.

Actor Vin Diesel has starred in various “Riddick” and “Fast and Furious” films.

Rocket Racoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper)

A genetically enhanced raccoon and master of various firearms, Rocket is the heart and soul of “Vol. 3.”

He’s voiced by Bradley Cooper, but played on set by Sean Gunn via motion-capture.

Cosmo the Space Dog (voiced by Maria Bakalova)

A canine sent into space by the Soviet Union who develops psionic abilities.

Actor Maria Bakalova got her big break after starring in “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm.”

The High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji)

A scientist from Counter-Earth who created Rocket Raccoon and other hybrid creatures.

Actor Chukwudi Iwuji had a recurring role in “When They See Us” and appeared in “John Wick 2.” He also starred in James Gunn’s “Peacemaker” series.

Lylla (voiced by Linda Cardellini)

Lylla is a genetically engineered otter held captive by The High Evolutionary.

Teefs (voiced by Asim Chaudhry)

Teefs is a genetically engineered walrus held captive by The High Evolutionary.

Floor is a genetically engineered rabbit held captive by The High Evolutionary.

Recorder Vim (Miriam Shor) and Recorder Theel (Nico Santos)

The Recorders are cybernetic henchmen of The High Evolutionary.

Actor Miriam Shor is best known for her role in “Hedwig and the Angry Inch.” Nico Santos has appeared in “Superstore” and “Crazy Rich Asians.”

Adam Warlock (Will Poulter)

A powerful artificial being created by the Sovereign to battle the Guardians.

Actor Will Poulter got his big break playing Eustace Scrubb in “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.” He also had a memorable role in “We’re The Millers.”

Kraglin (Sean Gunn)

A former Ravager turned Guardian of the Galaxy.
