Grupo Frontera, Marc Anthony, Sofia Reyes to Perform at 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards

The 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards has unveiled a dozen new additions to its performance lineup ahead of the ceremony, scheduled to air live from Miami on Oct. 5 via Telemundo. Among them are Farruko, Marc Anthony, and Sofia Reyes, who join the lineup as veteran performers alongside nine artists gearing up to take the Billboard Latin Music Awards stage for the first time.

The show’s newly announced first-timers include Banda Carnaval, Eddy Lover, Grupo Frontera, La Factoría, Nicki Nicole, Pepe Aguilar, Sky Rompiendo, Ximena Sariñana, and Yng Lvcas. The 12 artists join the lineup alongside previously revealed performers Calibre 50, Chiquis, El Alfa, Eladio Carrión, Justin Quiles, Los Ángeles Azules, Manuel Turizo, Marshmello, Myke Towers, Peso Pluma, Tini and Yandel.

The Billboard Latin Music Awards comes at the tail end of Billboard Latin Music Week, which runs from Oct. 2 through Oct. 6 as a full celebration of Latin music, culture, and entertainment. “Billboard Latin Music Week prides itself on bringing the best, brightest, and most relevant and exciting artists and executives together,” Billboard‘s Leila Cobo shared in a press release last month. “This year’s very diverse group represents why Latin music is dominating global charts. This is a groundbreaking year for Latin Music Week with many more announcements to come.”

Many performing artists will appear on panels throughout the week-long event. Becerra, Gale, Nicole, Nathy Peluso, and Young Miko will be featured on a panel focused on women in music titled “Boys Club No More.” Cano, Pluma, Santa Fe Klan, and Yng Lvcas will participate in a panel titled “The New Mexican Revolution,” while Barrera and Grupo Frontera will helm the “Making the Hit Live” panel.

In a statement, Billboard president Mike Van shared: “Billboard is committed to fostering and celebrating Latin music and culture. We’re returning to Miami in October, which coincides with Hispanic Heritage Month, to continue championing Latin voices through unique curated programming.”
