Gru and the Minions Are Back in DESPICABLE ME 4 LEGO Sets

For almost 15 years, the Despicable Me series has been one of the most successful animated franchises of all time, with three main blockbuster films, two Minions spinoffs, and a new sequel on the way this summer, Despicable Me 4. To celebrate the release of the new film, the LEGO group partnered with Illumination and Universal Products & Experiences to release a series of sets based on the upcoming film. Below are images and details of the four Despicable Me 4 LEGO sets.

LEGO Despicable Me 4 Minions and Gru’s Family Mansion

This Despicable Me 4 set comes with the mansion’s iconic architecture and beloved movie items, such as the red couch, fireplace, and rocket-style bedroom—not to mention a brightly colored tree house.

LEGO Despicable Me 4 Brick-Built Gru and Minions

The second Despicable Me 4 LEGO set is a Brick-Built Gru with dancing Minions. It comes with a ukulele-playing Mel and Kevin, armed with his fart gun. (You have to have a good fart gun).

Minions’ Music Party Bus

The minions are ready to party, so it’s a good thing you can build them a party bus. This bus has a dance floor, DJ station, hot tub and more. It comes complete with lots of party accessories too, including party hats, of course. This Despicable Me LEGO set also comes with four different minion figures: Phil, Mel, Dave, and Mega Minion Gus. We just hope things don’t get too crazy.

Minions and Banana Car

Finally, if your Minions don’t like their party bus, get them a banana car. This adorable set lets you get a small taste of life as a Minion. It features a removable engine and driver’s seat, and accessories that will help your Minons go about their life. They can partake in weight lifting, painting, diaper changing, and, of course, spying. This Despicable Me LEGO set includes four minons: Mel, AVL Tim, Mega Minion Dave and Pit Crew Ron.

It costs $24.99.

When Will the LEGO Despicable Me 4 Sets Release?

Sadly, the giant LEGO Minion LEGO revealed on April 1 was just an April Fool’s Day joke. It’s too bad, because we kind of want that one. We’ve included an image of it because it’s way too perfect not to show.
