A group of privacy advocacy organizations is filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission Thursday alleging that the social media app TikTok has violated a consent decree and a law protecting children's privacy online.
Independent1: I live in a suburb of the twin cities, and was watching the news at 6pm Tuesday. Mayor Frey was actually crying on the television when he was talking about George Floyd's death. He was apologizing and calling for the officers arrest. I'm sorry, but I knew right then and there that there was going to be a lot of problems. His response needed to have the empathy that he fully displayed, but also strength and leadership. He needed to be able to say my heart goes out to you but we won't stand for violence. I don't live in Minneapolis. He isn't my mayor. But he doesn't have the strength to be a leader of a big city.
