'Grimm' Stars Reveal Gross On-Set Prank After Spinning the Wheel of Comic-Con

When the cast of Grimm stopped by Yahoo TV’s Comic-Con studio last weekend, they were missing a member — lead David Giuntoli, who plays Nick. But he was there in spirit, thanks to a hilarious tale of a prank he pulled on them on the set of the NBC supernatural drama.

Claire Coffee, Silas Weir Mitchell, Bree Turner, and Reggie Lee were on hand to spin our Wheel of Comic-Con. (Coffee landed on “Batman” and had to wear the mask for the duration of the interview.) Then, the actors revealed that their missing mate Giuntoli loves playing practical jokes on them.

There was one he pulled on Turner while filming on location that completely grossed her out.

“[Silas, David, and I] have to peek through this trailer, this Airstream, and David thought it would be really funny to put really thick hand cream on all the knobs,” Turner explained.

“I open the door and it’s like prsshhhh!” she added, making a face. “That was so disgusting … When they called cut, I was like, ‘What is on my hand?!!’”

Meanwhile, Giuntoli was smug about pulling that prank, according to Mitchell. “He’s walking like he’s the weird Phantom Creamer!”

Grimm returns Oct. 30 on NBC.
