The red carpet premiere of Francis Ford Coppola’s new film “Megalopolis” was among the most anticipated at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. Stars from the movie posed for photos alongside high-profile red carpet attendees prior to the screening on Thursday.

2024 Cannes Film Festival Jury President Greta Gerwig wore a custom Chanel Haute Couture gown to the red carpet premiere of “Megalopolis.” The filmmaker’s floor-length dress featured shimmering sequins and a structured bodice. Gerwig’s hair was styled by John D with makeup by Jenna Streicher. Gerwig’s look was curated by stylist Karla Welch.
Aubrey Plaza
Aubrey Plaza wholly embraced gathered fabric in a custom look by Loewe. The actress accessorized with jewelry pieces courtesy of Piaget and shoes by Casadei. Her makeup was done by artist Kathy Jeung, while her hair was styled with Old Hollywood sensibility by Jon Chapman. Plaza’s look was curated by stylist Jessica Paster.
Nathalie Emmanuel
“Megalopolis” star Nathalie Emmanuel brought ethereal elegance to the red carpet premiere in a custom Chanel Haute Couture gown. The skirt featured cascading white petals along the fabric, with a defined waist in black and a white structured bodice. She paired the look with delicate pieces of silver jewelry. Emmanuel’s premiere ensemble was curated by stylist Jason Bolden.

Teyana Taylor elevated patterned dressing with her Roberto Cavalli ensemble at the premiere of “Megalopolis.” The actress fashioned an animal-print jumpsuit with long sleeves and an unbuttoned top for the red carpet event.

Fineman’s ensemble was curated by Yael Quint.
