Greg Kinnear and Sepideh Moafi have been cast in the upcoming Apple drama series “In With the Devil,” Variety has learned.

The pair joins previously announced series leads Taron Egerton and Paul Walter Hauser as well as Ray Liotta. The six-episode series was ordered at Apple in January. It based on the 2010 novel “In With The Devil: A Fallen Hero, A Serial Killer, and A Dangerous Bargain for Redemption” by James Keene and Hillel Levin.

The book tells the story of Keene’s real life when he was sentenced to prison but offered his freedom in exchange for coaxing a confession out of a fellow inmate, a suspected serial killer.

The series is described as being told through the lens of an intimate relationship between two prisoners, exploring the lengths that people will go to in order to seek redemption, if true absolution is ever really possible, and if so, at what costs. Egerton will star as Keene and Hauser will play the serial killer.

Kinnear will star as Brian Miller, the chief investigator for the Vermillion County Sheriff’s Office, while Moafi will star as FBI agent Lauren McCauley.

Kinnear was nominated for an Oscar and a Golden Globe in 1998 for his supporting role in the film “As Good as It Gets.” He was also nominated for two Emmy Awards in his career — one for best guest actor in “Modern Family” and another for best actor in a miniseries for movie for “The Kennedys.” It was also recently announced that Starz has picked up the horror comedy series “Shining Vale,” in which Kinnear will star. His other feature credits include “Little Miss Sunshine” and “Sabrina,” while his recent TV credits include limited series adaptation of Stephen King’s “The Stand.”

He is repped by WME, Anonymous Content and attorney Rick Genow.

Moafi recently starred in the Showtime series “The L Word: Generation Q” and the HBO series “The Deuce.” She is also known for roles in shows like “Notorious,” “Black Box,” and “Falling Water.”

She is repped by Principal Entertainment LA and A3 Artists Agency

Dennis Lehane will write and executive produce the adaptation of “In With the Devil.” Imperative Entertainment’s Bradley Thomas, Dan Friedkin, and Ryan Friedkin will also executive produce along with Egerton, Richard Plepler via EDEN Productions, Alexandra Milchan, Scott Lambert, Kary Antholis, and Keene. Michaël R. Roskam will direct and executive produce the series. Apple Studios will produce.
