Green Day announce 2017 arena tour

Green Day has been on the road supporting their most recent release Revolution Radio at smaller, intimate clubs, but on Monday the group announced they’ll tour North America again in 2017, this time at major arenas.

The trek kicks off March 1 and includes stops at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena, and Washington D.C.’s Verizon Center. Shows will wrap April 8 at San Diego’s Valley View Casino Center.

Punk rockers Against Me!, who also just released an excellent new album Shape Shift With Me will open the show at all dates.

Presale tickets will be available for Idiot Nation members Oct. 12 at 9 a.m. local time, and tickets will go on sale to the general public Oct. 14. (See more info at GreenDay.com.)
