'It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown:' How to watch for free on Apple TV+

If you want to celebrate Halloween with Charlie Brown, Snoopy and their friends, you'll have to head over to Apple TV+ again — and there will be a window to do it for free.

The subscription streaming service acquired "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" several years ago as part of a corporate deal after the 1966 TV movie aired for decades on network television. The deal also included holiday favorites "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" and "A Charlie Brown Christmas."

In 2020 and 2021, PBS was able to air some of the specials, but has not been given rights since then.

However, Apple TV+ is again providing free windows to nonsubscribers to stream all three specials, according to a news release.

Here's when you can watch all three for free:

  • "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown": Oct. 21-22

  • "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving": Nov. 18-19

  • "A Charlie Brown Christmas": Dec. 16-17

"It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" features Charlie Brown prepping for a party, Snoopy engaging the Red Baron and Linus waiting for the Great Pumpkin.

In "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving," Peppermint Patty invites all the friends over to Charlie Brown's for Thanksgiving.

"A Charlie Brown Christmas," follows Charlie Brown as he tries to find a deeper meaning to Christmas.

Set those reminders now, so you don't miss your chance to watch all of them for free.
