Grandpa's Cheesebarn to present two free community movie days at The Ashland

Grandpa's Cheesebarn will present two free movie days at The Ashland − Tuesday and Thursday.

The company revealed as a Merry Christmas to Ashland it is continuing to celebrate the real reason for the season. The event offers free admission and popcorn.

Multiple Christmas films will be presented on both dates:

Tuesday

  • 6 p.m. - "Frosty the Snowman" and "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer" (back-to-back showings)

  • 8 p.m. - "Elf"

Thursday

  • 6 p.m. - "Frosty the Snowman" and "Rudolph the Red Noose Reindeer" (back-to-back showings)

  • 8 p.m. - "The Star"

Grandpa's Cheesebarn, in cooperation with BCU Electric, is sponsoring the Candy Cane Trail at Freer Field. The trail opened earlier this month.

Dick Poorbaugh, the co-owner of Grandpa's Cheesebarn, spoke at the Candy Cane Trail's grand opening and said the company's goal for the trail is to give something to the city of Ashland to enjoy during the Christmas season.

The Candy Cane Trail is free and open until the end of the month.
