Created by Phil Augusta Jackson, Grand Crew is an NBC sitcom. The plot revolves around a group of friends dealing with the challenges of life in Los Angeles. When things become too much, they gather at a local bar to drink and relax. Season 1 premiered on December 14, 2021, and Season 2 on March 3, 2023. Is there a Grand Crew Season 3 release date?
There is no Grand Crew Season 3 release date as NBC canceled the series after the sophomore season.
In June 2023, about two months after the second season finished airing, NBC announced Grand Crew’s cancellation. Series creator Phil Augusta Jackson took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce the news. “What up fam — Grand Crew was canceled today, but it’s still a celebration,” he wrote. “I’m grateful that i got to create and showrun two seasons of network tv with my friends — it was a dream come true. thanks to everyone who worked on and watched the show,” Jackson added.
Alongside Grand Crew, NBC canceled Young Rock, a sitcom about the youth of actor and pro wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, in June last year.
Grand Crew features Echo Kellum playing Noah Coleman, Nicole Byer as Nicky Coleman, Justin Cunningham taking on the role of Wyatt Fields, and Aaron Jennings portraying the character of Anthony Holmes. Further, the cast includes Carl Tart as Sherm Jones, Grasie Mercedes as Fay, Maya Lynne Robinson as Kristen Fields, Ashley Blaine Featherson-Jenkins as Talia, and more.
Why Grand Crew Season 3 isn’t happening?
Grand Crew Season 3 isn’t coming out because, as mentioned above, the series was canceled after two seasons.
