Grammys 2019: St. Vincent Wins Best Rock Song

“MASSEDUCTION” beat out songs by Greta Van Fleet, twenty one pilots, and more

St. Vincent and Jack Antonoff have won the award for Best Rock Song tonight at this year’s Grammys. Their track “MASSEDUCTION” beat out songs by Greta Van Fleet (“Black Smoke Rising”), twenty one pilots (“Jumpsuit”), Bring Me the Horizon (“MANTRA”), and Ghost (“Rats”).

“I want to say a big thank you to my friend here Jack Antonoff,” Annie Clark said. “We made a record together that I’m so proud of. I think this is the first time that I’ve given a thank you speech.” She thanked her family and the team that worked on the record. “Annie’s the best we have,” Antonoff said.
