Grammy-winning rapper and actor is first to be eliminated on 'Masked Dancer' premiere

The series premiere of The Masked Dancer did not disappoint Sunday night, as the spin off of the highly entertaining singing competition show The Masked Singer introduced us to five mystery celebrity dancers, including The Hammerhead, The Tulip, The Cricket, the Exotic Bird, and the Disco Ball.

The new FOX reality dance competition show is hosted by Craig Robinson, with panelists Paula Abdul, Ken Jeong, Ashley Tisdale, and Brian Austin Green. However, unlike the show's sister-from-another-mister show, The Masked Dancer is less about the voice and all about the moves. Unfortunately for the Disco Ball, the voting audience was saying dis-no ball.

After unmasking, Grammy-winning rapper and actor Ice-T said it was the craziest thing he has ever done. “My daughter watched The Masked Singer,” Ice explained to host Craig Robinson. “And then when I seen Lil Wayne [a.k.a. the Robot from The Masked Singer Season 3] take the helmet off, I'm like, ‘OK, this is cool.’ Then when I see Busta [Rhymes, a.k.a. the Dragon from The Masked Singer Season 4], I'm like, ‘Imma get a call eventually.’”

Meanwhile, viewers were totally shocked by the reveal, as they took to social media following the rapper's unmasking to express their surprise. And while Ice-T only lasted for one episode, the hip hop legend still had a (disco) ball.
