Grammy Premiere Ceremony details: Host, presenters and performers announced for big Grammy pre-show

The Grammy Awards prime time ceremony takes place on Sunday night, February 4. That’s where top categories like Album of the Year and Record of the Year will be presented. But for savvy awards watchers, the main event is actually the Grammys Premiere Ceremony taking place that afternoon in advance of the CBS telecast hosted by Trevor Noah. The vast majority of awards will be handed out there, and it’s also where we can expect to find some of the best performances.

The awards will stream live from the Peacock Theater on the Recording Academy’s YouTube channel and on live.grammy.com starting at 12:30pm PT/3:30pm ET. They’ll be hosted by Justin Tranter, a Songwriter of the Year nominee this year for his work with artists including Renee Rapp, Maneskin and Miley Cyrus. Presenting awards will be Best Jazz Vocal Album nominee Patti Austin, Recording Academy Board of Trustees Chair Jimmy Jam, Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album nominee Natalia Lafourcade, Best Country Duo/Group Performance nominee Carly Pearce, Best Bluegrass Album nominee Molly Tuttle and Best Folk Album nominee Rufus Wainwright.
