CHILLICOTHE — Come All Ye Faithful for a not so Silent Night as Grammy award winner singer/songwriter John Berry lets everyone know Santa Claus is Coming to Town during his 27th Annual Christmas Tour.

"Twenty-seven years have passed, and I could never have foreseen the incredible blessing of sharing my music and commemorating the birth of Christ throughout this journey," said Berry. "It's deeply meaningful to see so many of you returning, year after year, alongside your loved ones and friends, all coming together to embrace the joy of the season. I look forward to sharing this time of giving with each and every one of you and I'm forever grateful for your continued support."

At each stop, Berry said he enjoys visiting the towns and over the years he has found favorite stores to visit in each location. For Chillicothe, he always stops at Ivy's to pick up Christmas gifts and walks downtown to get ice cream at Highlands.

"We are looking forward to being back in Chillicothe," said Berry.

He also enjoys performing at the Majestic Theatre saying the theatre is an amazing room to play in and that he always looks forward to it. Not only does he love the venue he also loves the staff and fans that come and have a good time there.

Over the years Berry has performed this tour in front of thousands of fans so he tries to keep each tour fresh and exciting. The first half of the concert will include classic songs from Berry's discography as well as new songs from his latest album, the second half will be a variety of classic Christmas songs to get people in the spirit of the season.

For Berry picking which song is his favorite is impossible but he said he is excited to play some of his old songs that were not radio hits as well as "It Is Well With My Soul" from his latest gospel album and "O Holy Night" for Christmas.

"That is like asking me which one of my children is my favorite," said Berry. "I love them all."

Berry is asking all who attend to bring canned food with them to donate in the lobby of each venue. This idea came from his wife, who Berry said has a "heart for those in need." The donations will be given to the local food bank and offer the community a way to give back.
