Because I'm a sucker for sparkly things, I'm a big fan of LED light strips, the peel-and-stick kind you can put around your TV, under cabinets and in other fun places.

Now comes something new: The Govee Glide Wall Light. More of a tube than a strip, it's designed to add a big splash of illuminated color — and right now it's available for the lowest price ever: Get the Govee Glide Wall Light for $65 when you clip the $10-off coupon and then apply promo code GOVEE6062B at checkout. It normally sells for $100.

And if you have Amazon Prime, you’ll get free shipping, of course. Not yet a member? No problem. You can sign up for your free 30-day trial here. (And even those without Prime get free shipping on orders of $25 or more).

Created primarily with décor in mind, the Glide consists of six straight sections and one right-angle piece. I do wish Govee had included at least one more corner to expand your layout options, but at least the corner piece can slot in wherever you want it; it doesn't have to live at one end. (Take note: Some of the product photos are a bit misleading with regard to what's included here, showing multiple kits on the same wall.)

Once you've arranged the sections and attached them to the wall, you use the Govee app to connect the Glide to your home Wi-Fi network. It can display up to 57 colors at once from a palette of over 16 million. There are scene modes (for gaming, movies and the like) and "reactive" music modes, which make the lights pulse or change colors based on the music that's playing.

Just as cool, it works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. If you have any of those devices in your house, you can use voice commands to turn the Glide on and off, change modes and so on.

This isn't a particularly practical lighting kit, but it's definitely a fun one, something that can add some very cool effects to a home theater, game room, bedroom or the like. A similar product from LIFX costs about double, so I'm definitely liking this at $65.
