‘Gotham’ Ties ‘Supergirl’ For First Time In Live+7 & Live+3 Ratings
The DC superhero battle between Fox’s Gotham and CBS’ Supergirl at 8 PM on Monday was among the most anticipated time slot face-offs on the fall 2015 schedule.
The newcomer, Supergirl, came our roaring with a big premiere on Oct. 26 at 8:30 PM, boosted by a Big Bang Theory lead-in. Since then, Supergirl has been s
lipping week to week for all but one airing while Gotham has been steady, gradually closing the gap. In Live+Same Day, Supergirl still has the edge, with Gotham posting its most competitive finish last week (1.4 to Supergirl’s 1.5 in 18-49 on Nov. 23). But with delayed viewing factored in, Gotham has been able to match Supergirl in both Live+3 and Live+7 for the first time.
The L+7 tie came for Week 3 of the shows’ face-off, Nov. 9, when they both logged a 2.7 rating in adults 18-49. The L+3 tie was for last week’s Nov. 23 airings (2.1) after Gotham had came up within a tenth of Supergirl the week before. If the trend of Gotham gaining on Supergirl in delayed viewing continues, there is a chance that Gotham could overcome Supergirl in L+7 for last Monday’s episodes. It also may soon tie the CBS series in Live+Same Day.
Here is the available L+7 and L+3 trackers (A18-49 rating) for Gotham and Supergirl’s joint airings so far:

L+3
