Gordon Ramsay in Fat Suit Pranks Former Executive Chef on ‘The F-Word’ Premiere

The lean, mean, cooking machine, Gordon Ramsay, premiered his new show, ‘The F-Word,’ for American audiences. And because pranks are funny, he donned a fat suit and took a cooking class with his former executive chef of seven years, Maria Tampakis.

Tampakis is an instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York. Even though Ramsay has known her for so many years, he was hoping four hours in a makeup chair would be enough to fool her. Donning a fat suit and glasses, the Michelin Star-winning chef took a Tampakis beginner course.

Ramsay played the fool while Tampakis taught the class but his actual cooking techniques were perfect. After Ramsay sectioned the meat from a chicken, Tampakis admitted the Gordon Ramsay himself would be impressed.

Not wanting to press his luck any further, Ramsay removed his glasses and revealed himself to Tampakis. She was extremely surprised, but once she gathered herself she gave her former boss a big hug.

The F-Word airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on FOX.
