Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward continues to make incredible progress since his gruesome ankle injury on opening night. A few weeks after a picture emerged of Hayward out of his leg brace, the 27-year-old decided to give fans another update Friday.

Hayward posted a video of himself dribbling and taking shots on his Instagram page.

The team has been quiet about Hayward’s timetable for a while now. As our own Ben Rohrbach noted, the team did not include the term “season-ending” anywhere in their statement about his surgery. That has led to some speculation about whether Hayward could return in time for the postseason.

Given the brutal nature of Hayward’s injury that still seems far off. Even if Hayward can’t make it back in time for the playoffs, it’s encouraging to see him looking normal after what happened in the team’s opener.
