'So good it was scary' performance makes history on 'American Idol' Disney night

American Idol's top 10 took the stage at the "Happiest Place on Earth" Sunday for Disney night, but there was one contestant who clearly stood out above the rest.

18-year-old contestant Nicolina Bozzo made Idol history Sunday night, as she became the first contestant to ever sing a Disney villain song, with Ursula's "Poor Unfortunate Souls" from The Little Mermaid.

Judge Katy Perry, who dressed up as Ariel, had a little trouble getting and staying in her chair at the top of the show Sunday due to her costume with a full mermaid's tail. However, Nicolina's performance was so incredible that she had all three judges out of their chairs – Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan giving a standing ovation, while Katy was so floored, she fell on the floor.

"That was so good it was scary," screamed Katy.

"You know what? This could be the best Disney night ever! I mean, honestly, that was a performance. I mean, that was a presentation. You scared Katy to death," said Lionel.

Katy added, "Honestly, I think you stole the show! I mean, that is how you do it! That's how you do show business. The entrance. The fog. The look. I mean, this is fun. That was incredible. That was the best performance of the night so far."

After the live voting window closed at the end of the night, we had to say goodbye to Lady K, Emyrson Flora, and Mike Parker, but it was no surprise that Nicolina joined this season's top 7 along with Leah Marlene, Jay, Noah Thompson, Fritz Hager, Huntergirl, and Christian Guardino.
