‘The Good Doctor’ Season 6 Premiere Sees Viewership Rise by Over 4 Million in Live+7 Ratings (Exclusive)

The Season 6 premiere of “The Good Doctor” is gaining steam. The episode has now emerged as the top-rated series in the 10 p.m. hour of primetime in the advertiser-friendly 18-49 demographic, according to live + seven-day Nielsen data.

The episode has now secured a 1.34 in the demo, which is a 244% increase from the 0.4 it managed in live + same day ratings, pushing it past NBC’s “Quantum Leap” for the ratings crown.

The total audience for the episode has increased by more than 4 million, now sitting at 7.8 million people.

This marks a steady performance for the Season 6 debut, which matched the Season 5 finale’s rating and surpassed it in total viewership. The May episode had notched 6.4 million total viewers in the seven days after it aired.

“The Good Doctor” Season 6 was fairly solid right out of the gate, managing to also hold even with the Season 5 average in live + same day data.

The Season 6 premiere episode initially drew a 0.4 in the demo and 3.4 million total viewers, compared to the Season 5 average of 0.4 and 3.7 million total viewers.

“The Good Doctor” airs Mondays at 10 p.m. on ABC.
