Goldie Hawn Kurt Russell Through the Years: Then vs Now

While Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell may not be married, the pair, who have been together since 1983, are one of Hollywood’s biggest reminders that true love really does exist. Whether it’s sweet moments between them on the carpet, including some PDA, or their sweet words about each other over the years, it’s clear that their connection is one for the books.

“I was 21 and he was 16 and I thought he was adorable but he was much too young,” Hawn once told BBC Radio 4 of when they first met, per People. “And then years later we met up again and I liked him and I remembered that I liked him very much when I first met him. But we both said we would never go out with another actor so it just shows you never can tell.”

Since then, the happy couple welcomed their son, fellow actor Wyatt Russell. The actor is also a stepdad to Hawn’s kids, actor Oliver and Kate Hudson, from her previous marriage to Bill Hudson. The pair also became grandparents to seven grandkids.

Talking about the secret of her partnership in 2017, Hawn said it’s all about choosing to nurture each other every day. “Love, gratitude, compassion, because sometimes every man or every woman will drive their partner crazy. Family. Fun. Laughs. Sex,” Hawn told People. “If you don’t nurture that, and remember, you’re done.”
