Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have been going strong for decades, proving that Hollywood romances can last.

The duo met in 1966, but they didn't start dating until they collaborated on 1983’s Swing Shift.

Prior to their romance, Russell was married to Season Hubley from 1979 to 1983 while Hawn went through two of her own divorces. First, she was married to Gus Trinkonis from 1969 to 1976 and then to Bill Hudson, with whom she shares children Oliver Hudson and Kate Hudson, from 1976 to 1982.

Despite sharing decades together and welcoming son Wyatt Russell in 1986, the two have no plans to tie the knot after experiencing the difficulties of divorce.

“[Divorce is] always ugly,” she told CNN in July 2023. “Somebody actually has to take a look and say, ‘How many divorces actually are fun? How many divorces actually don’t cost money? How many divorces actually make you hate the person more than you did before? How many divorces have hurt children?’”

She added, "I like the idea that I can wake up in the morning and make decisions every day if I want to be here. ... I think ultimately staying independent with independent thinking is important, so you can hold on to yourself, and you can actually have that feeling."
