It’s the first Sunday of the new year, which can only mean one thing for awards fans like us: it’s time for the Golden Globes! Many of Hollywood’s most famous celebrities showed up at The Beverly Hilton on January 7, 2024 dressed in their Sunday best. While some folks stunned with their eye-popping looks, others — let’s be honest — committed fashion crimes. Host Jo Koy presides over the three-hour ceremony on CBS and Paramount+ that honors the best in film and television for the 2023 calendar year. The movie nominees were led by “Barbie,” “Oppenheimer,” Killers of the Flower Moon” and “Poor Things,” while the TV side was dominated by “Succession,” “The Bear,” “Only Murders in the Building” and “The Crown.” In addition, there were two brand new categories this year for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement and Best Performance in Stand-Up Comedy on Television.
