You can now make your 2024 Golden Globes movie nominee predictions. The event is ready and available in our Gold Derby predictions center earlier than ever before, so we need to hear from you regarding the drama and comedy/musical film categories. Nominations will be announced by Dick Clark Productions and the HFPA on Monday, December 11.

For the 2023 ceremony, not all that many winners moved on to also prevail at the Oscars a few weeks later. The drama picture champ was “The Fabelmans,” which also won for director Steven Spielberg. Acting winners were Austin Butler (“Elvis”) and Cate Blanchett (“TAR”). The comedy champ was “The Banshees of Inisherin” (not the eventual Oscar sweeper “Everything Everywhere All at Once”) along with Colin Farrell (“Banshees”) and Michelle Yeoh (“EEAAO”), who did win the Academy Award. Supporting awards went to Ke Huy Quan (“EEAAO”) and Angela Bassett (“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”).
