It's Awards Season in Hollywood! And what better way to kick off 2020 than with The Annual Golden Globes and the pre-parties!

Anyone who's anyone is there. Nominees like Saoirse Ronan (Little Women) and Nicole Kidman (Big Little Lies), made sure to get down before waiting to hear their name called on Sunday night.

Two of the Golden Globes biggest parties that happened in Los Angeles on January 4 were the 7th Annual Gold Meets Golden Brunch Event and the BAFTA Tea Party. The former attracted major stars like Nicole and Golden Globe winner Rami Malek while the latter brought out an equally impressive amount of celebs like Saoirse and Tony winner Ben Platt.

The 77th Annual Golden Globes air this Sunday night. The annual awards ceremony honors the finest achievements in film and television.

One of the parties thrown in Los Angeles was held on Friday night, as a marathon weekend of events and screenings commenced in Los Angeles in advance of the 2020 Golden Globes. In fact, the film’s Sunset Tower Hotel soiree turned out to be the hottest ticket of the weekend, even drawing talent from competing award contenders, including the “Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood” star Leonardo DiCaprio, the “Marriage Story” director Noah Baumbach and star Laura Dern, and the “Bombshell” director Jay Roach.

Streaming Services Netflix and HBO Expected To Be Big Winners

Both Netflix and HBO are expected to take the evening by storm with the most wins of the night. Netflix has three of the five up for Best Drama, Game of Thrones out of the picture, HBO could still walk away with the best drama series. Succession was by far the buzziest of the nominated shows, and deservedly won praise from audiences and critics alike. Don’t sleep on The Crown, though — it took home the award in 2017 and could reign again.

The Golden Globes are considered Hollywood's first biggest night before the even bigger night—The Oscars. The Golden Globes take place at the Beverly Hilton.

'The Morning Show' will probably win for best TV series, 'The Irishman' and 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' are also expected to top the list of big winners. Also, 'The Crown' is also a popular TV drama that is also expected to win.

Tom Hanks is nominated for best supporting actor for his performance as Mister Rogers in "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood." He will also receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award.

The 2020 Golden Globes will be the first vegan Golden Globes. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association made a last-minute switch from a meal that included fish to a plant-based lineup in order to “send a signal” about the climate crisis.
