The resort has plenty of 'Bachelor' ties, and the town itself is home to stars from Cindy Crawford to the Kardashian-Jenners

Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner tied the knot with Theresa Nist on Thursday in a location with Bachelor Nation — and A-lister – ties.

The reality TV couple said "I do" in a ceremony that aired live from at La Quinta Resort & Club, in La Quinta, California, a desert hotspot not far from Palm Springs in the Coachella Valley.

The legendary, nearly 100-year-old hotel isn't your typical inn. It's absolutely massive, sitting on 45 stunning acres, which are home to five potential wedding venues in addition to 620 casitas, 98 villas and a 23,000 sq. ft. spa. There are also 41 swimming pools and 53 hot tubs on site.

The Golden Wedding is hardly the luxury property's first time on screen. It features in 2022's Don't Worry Darling and has played host to Food Network's Top Chef, among other credits.

It's also been featured several times on the Bachelor and the Bachelorette: first as the location for a romantic date on Rachel Lindsay's season and later, as the filming location for the entirety of Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams's season.

It's also a vacation hotspot for a wide range of famous faces.

La Quinta Resort has welcomed everyone from Old Hollywood icons like Shirley Temple and Ginger Rogers, to presidents Eisenhower and Clinton, to modern stars like Gwen Stefani, Will Ferrell and Justin Bieber.

Many celebrities have also put down roots in the town of La Quinta.

The Kardashian-Jenner clan has a major real estate footprint, with Kourtney Kardashian and Kris Jenner owning modern mansions, and Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner buying up plots of land. Kim and then-husband Kanye West reportedly picked up a $6.3 million parcel in 2019, according to the Los Angeles Times, and later commissioned Pritzker Prize-winning architect Tadao Ando to build a home there, per Architectural Digest.

Cindy Crawford and husband Rande Gerber, and Lori Loughlin also own homes in La Quinta. Ray Romano recently showed off his family home in the town, and shared that he hopes to soon host grandkids there.

Turner and Nist, who got engaged during the Golden Bachelor finale, announced during After the Final Rose that they would tie the knot in the very near future, on January 4.

"We are going to get married, we're going to do it as quickly as we can because at our age, we don't have a lot of time to waste," Gerry said. "As quickly as we can put together a wedding plan, we're getting married!"
