"The Golden Bachelor" is getting better with age.

On this week's episode, Gerry brings the 12 remaining women on a group date, but only one lucky lady had the chance for a one-on-one. From poetry to lap dancing, the women pulled out all the stops to win Gerry's attention.

Former Bachelorette and "Dancing with the Stars" mirrorball champion Kaitlyn Bristowe waltzed her way into a guest role this week. The one-on-one date led to self-doubt and bigger questions for some of the women.

Later, another one-on-one with a separate contestant brought Gerry's connection to bigger heights.

Turner, a self-proclaimed pickleball fan, lost his wife, Toni, in 2017 after 43 years together. His high school sweetest died after a battle with an illness. The couple lived in the Quad Cities area but moved to Indiana later in their marriage.

"I am from Iowa," the retiree told franchise website BachelorNation.com in July.

Later, animosity that bubbled under the surface between Theresa and Kathy fizzled over on last night's episode. Gerry also said goodbye to a few more women from his original cast of 22 lucky ladies. One woman left to help her family and two others were sent home by the end of the rose ceremony.
