SPOILER ALERT! This post contains details from The Golden Bachelor: Women Tell All, including who did not receive a rose after hometowns.

We’ve all been waiting on pins and needles to find out who Gerry Turner eliminated after hometowns.

More from Deadline

Last week’s episode ended on a very emotional note, with Gerry unable to continue the rose ceremony after giving the first one to Leslie. With Faith and Teresa standing before him, both hoping for that coveted rose, Gerry had to take a moment to himself.

We finally got our answer during Thursday’s Women Tell All. Deadline also spoke with Gerry about the Women Tell All, the rose ceremony, and more. We’ve included what he had to say about certain moments throughout the recap.

Audiences were reunited with 13 of the women from Gerry’s season — April, Christina, Edith, Ellen, Joan, Kathy, Marina, Nancy, Natascha, Pamela, Patty, and Sandra — to discuss everything that went down during their journey. Naturally, Sandra kicked things off by leading everyone through a deep breath followed by a nice, long “F*ck,” just like she did with Gerry on the first night.

The ladies also reflected on how their time with Gerry and each other helped them come into their own and realize the potential of this phase of their life. They also said the show helped highlight to their families that they are single women who are still looking for love, adventure and fun.

Jesse briefly touched on the drama between Kathy and Teresa but, since Teresa wasn’t there to weigh in, they kept it brief. Kathy admitted that she could have tried a more delicate approach to the subject and, truthfully, they both could have handled the situation better. But, it’s all water under the bridge now.

There was also a strangely long segment dedicated to figuring out which ladies’ cooking gave Susan’s gas. Was it the meatballs? Was it Edith’s guacamole? The world may never know.

Susan and the rest of the women also received a surprise message from Kris Jenner, who told them this is the best season of the franchise she’s seen in years. Susan was brought to tears by the special shoutout from the Kardashian matriarch.

Mind you, Gerry was backstage during the entire taping. In an interview with Deadline, he said the most challenging part of the Women Tell All was “waiting in the green room when I knew all those wonderful women that I had made friends with were out there on stage having a good time without me.”

Two ladies took the hot seat before Gerry came on stage. First was Joan, whose journey was abruptly cut short due to a family emergency, spoke with host Jesse Palmer about how she’s been feeling since she left. She says her daughter was struggling with postpartum depression, and she knew she was needed at home. However, she admits that she felt there was some unfinished business and, at times, she even hoped Gerry might show up on her doorstep hoping to rekindle their romance. She adds that it’s hard not to wonder what might have happened if she’d gotten the chance to stay.

Ellen also takes the hot seat to talk about her departure right before hometowns. While saying goodbye to Gerry was very emotional and difficult, she says she is grateful that her connection with him gave her the confidence to pursue another relationship down the road.

Finally, it’s time for the man of the hour to join the women on stage! When Gerry arrives, all of the women are very excited to see him. Joan and Ellen each take a moment to reconnect with him, essentially saying exactly what they’d told Jesse moments earlier on stage.

Gerry also gave a bit more insight into his emotional rose ceremony, saying that he wasn’t confused. He was having trouble with the pressure of having to send someone home that he really did have a connection with.

“I knew in my head what I wanted to do, but that didn’t make executing that decision any easier,” he told Deadline of that moment. “What you saw on my face and my behavior wasn’t indecision by any means. It was the inability to find a way to be the least painful to someone in delivering that news.”

This is the moment we’ve been waiting for. After Gerry collects himself during the rose ceremony, he gives his rose to Teresa. This blindsides Faith, who was not expecting to be sent home after she and Gerry declared their love for each other in front of her family.

On stage at the WTA, Faith has joined the studio audience. She’s sitting with Jesse, and she’s very emotional watching the moment back. She tells Jesse that she had told herself she’d go all in, and she was surprised when her feelings for Gerry grew as strongly as they did. More than anything, she says, she felt bad that her family had gotten their hopes up that she’d found love.

Faith and Gerry reunite on stage, embracing in a tearful hug. Faith tells Gerry that she felt their connection was immediately severed when he didn’t give her the rose. He assures her that wasn’t the case and that he was so upset to have to say goodbye to her. He explains that, by the time he had narrowed down his final three, he had strong feelings for all of them. He ultimately had to choose the “right” woman for him, but that doesn’t invalidate how great the others were. Faith says she felt safe for what felt like the first time with Gerry, and she’s hoping she’ll feel that way again with someone else someday.

Here’s what Gerry told Deadline of the moment: “I think both of us were looking for a moment when we could have some closure. We’d gotten close. We had expressed feelings for each other. And to have had that relationship end so abruptly is really difficult. I’m sure it was more difficult for her than it was for me, and I had a really hard time with it. So we were able to hug for a long time. We cried together. But I feel like both of us we got to a point where we were okay with it. As she was walking off the stage to leave, I got her attention. This is one of those memories that I’ll keep with me, probably, forever. I asked for one more hug, and we again hugged for a long time. She told me she loved me, and I told her the same back and I said ‘Okay, when we break from this hug, I think both of us need to be smiling. Because that’s how I want each of us to remember the other.’ And we did a fairly good job of it.”

Speaking of the “right” woman, Gerry also spoke more with Deadline about narrowing down his decision. From the looks of the sneak peek at the end of the WTA, there’s more dramatic moments on the horizon before Gerry can get his happily ever after.

“Each one of the women on the show were unique individuals. They had their own bundle of talents and intellect and all those things that made them who they were. My task through the whole journey was to find the one woman that I couldn’t live without — the one woman that was right for me,” he said. “So it was down to those two people. And literally, when those two women were standing in front of me [at the rose ceremony after hometowns], I had not made a further decision yet, because I knew there was still more activity to come. I still had a last chance to meet with each of them. I still had other opportunities to get to know them. So I hadn’t developed an opinion by that point as to who was going to be my person.”

The Golden Bachelor airs Thursdays on ABC at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The finale will air on November 30.
