‘Golden Bachelor’ and ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Pushed as Broadcasters Delay Thursday Night Programming for Biden’s Presidential Address

Thursday night programming will look a bit different tonight as ABC, NBC, CBS, and Fox are all delaying their primetime schedules by 20 minutes to accommodate President Biden’s televised address to the nation explaining the U.S.’s response to the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the Russian war against Ukraine.

Thursday night telecasts of “The Golden Bachelor” and “Bachelor in Paradise” are being pushed 20 minutes later, with new episodes now scheduled to run at 8:22 p.m. ET/CT and 9:24 p.m. ET/CT. Local programming will fill the next half-hour block from 11:22 p.m. until midnight before closing the night with “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and “Nightline.”

Fox’s broadcasts of “Hell’s Kitchen” and “Lego Masters” have been moved to 8:15 p.m. and 9:15 p.m., respectively. A rep for the network confirms both episodes will run in full.

An encore episode of “Law & Order: SVU” is being delayed by 20 minutes and will now air at 8:20 pm, followed by a 9:20 p.m. broadcast of “Transplant.” “Dateline NBC” will run at 10:20 p.m. before late night takes over at 11:50 p.m. with “The Tonight Show” followed by “Late Night” at 12:50 a.m.

The season finale of “The Challenge: USA” will now air on CBS at 10:20 p.m. ET/CT. A new live episode of “Big Brother” will air before it at 9:20 p.m. ET/CT. CBS has also announced CBS News will air a one-hour primetime special, “Israel-Hamas War: The World On Edge,” on Friday at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
