If you know Le Creuset, you know its iconic Dutch oven. You can use the deep, lidded cast iron pot to make soups, stews, braised meats and even bread. Sure, you can use it year-round. But fall and winter are where the Dutch oven really shines.

If you want to get extra festive this autumn, the brand recently released a pumpkin-shaped version of its mini Dutch ovens (mini cocottes) at Williams Sonoma, and they’re worth stocking up on.

$34 at Williams Sonoma

The 12-ounce stoneware cocottes are perfect for making personal-sized dishes and sides like French onion soup, dips, soufflés, pot pies, gratins, cobblers and more. You can get them in white or orange for only $34 each.

Keep in mind, one 4.5-quart Dutch oven serves four to five people and costs $375. So, in the long run, it’s cheaper to get everyone at the table their own mini cocotte if you’re using them to make side dishes and desserts. You can use them at Thanksgiving or feed friends and family all season long.

Unlike the bigger Dutch ovens, the mini version is stoneware. However, that makes it freezer-, broiler-, oven-, microwave- and dishwasher-safe. Plus, the nonstick interior makes it easy to get your dish out and offers a quicker cleanup. Basically, there are no downsides to mini cocottes, especially at this price.

If you like the pumpkin shape but want a bigger size, Le Creuset also sells a 4-quart pumpkin cast iron cocotte and a 2-quart baker at Williams Sonoma.
