Not only that, but with a Metacritic aggregate score of 94/100 based on 117 reviews, God of War Ragnarok is also 2022’s second best-reviewed new game behind FromSoftware’s Elden Ring, which sits at 96/100 based on just 84 reviews. God of War 2018 also earned similar universal acclaim, and sits at 94/100 based on 118 reviews.
