"@Madonna, congratulations on the launch of #TheCelebrationTour at the @TheO2," Gaynor wrote on X (formerly Twitter). "So happy that you are in good health and ready to have a holiday with fans around the world! By the way, you have excellent taste in music!"

The 80-year-old disco diva also included a video of Madge strumming her guitar and performing an acoustic cover of "I Will Survive." The song is particularly poignant as the Material Mom had to postpone the start of her tour due to a bacterial infection that left her hospitalized for several days over the summer.

"I didn't think I was gonna make it. Neither did my doctors," Madonna told the crowd during opening night of the Celebration Tour in London. "That's why I woke up with all of my children sitting around me."

"I forgot five years of my life, or my death, I don't really know where I was. But the angels were protecting me, and my children were there. And my children always save me every time," she continued. "If you want to know my secret and you want to know how I pulled through and survived, I thought, I have to be there for my children. I have to survive for them."

Showing that maternal appreciation, Madonna had five of her six kids join her onstage opening night, including Mercy, 17, who played guitar on "Bad Girl," and David, 17, who played guitar during "Mother and Father."

Released as the second single from her sixth album, Gaynor's "I Will Survive" became the signature hit of her career, and is frequently cited as one of the greatest songs of all time. It has been covered multiple times over the years, from artists as varied as Diana Ross to Demi Lovato.
