‘Glee’s Riker Lynch Set To Host 6th Annual World Choreography Awards

Singer/dancer/musician Riker Lynch (Glee) will host the 6th annual World Choreography Awards on Monday October 24. In addition to Lynch, the show will feature dance performances by choreographers Liz Imperio, “Kida”, Paul Becker, The Joe Tremanie Faculty and Dancers, Anthony W. Johnson, Amari Marshall and Johanna Sapakiie.

The WCAs, which honor choreographic achievement in movies, music videos, commercials, television and digital content, will feature special guest attendees Christina Applegate, Florence Henderson, Paula Abdul, Lynch’s band R5, So You Think You Can Dance Season 13 winner “Kida”, SYTYCD choreographers Travis Wall, Mandy Moore, Christopher Scott, Dancing With The Stars pros Mark Ballas and Derek Hough, and choreographers Anita Mann, Daniel Ezralow, Jeffrey Hornaday, Joe Tremaine, Travis Payne, Daniel “Cloud” Campos and Michael Rooney.

The awards presentation, to be held at The Montalban Theater in Hollywood, is a charity event open to the public and produced by Allen Walls, Cecilie Stuart, Jordi Caballero & Cheryl Baxter-Ratliff. The WCAs are partnering this year with Discrimination Free Zone, a charity that focuses on ending discrimination.

“We’re thrilled to be back this year to celebrate these talent artists, and to be partnering with DFZ whose goals align with ours in wishing that everyone is able to have a safe space where they can freely express themselves,” said producer Walls.
