Fox’s 9-1-1: Lone Star, FX’s What We Do in the Shadows and HBO’s Los Espookys also scored big wins, while Jerrod Carmichael’s comedy special Rothaniel earned special recognition from the organization. Other honorees at the ceremony included singer Christina Aguilera (who received the Advocate for Change Award), rapper Bad Bunny (who received the Vanguard Award) and Pose actor Jeremy Pope (who received the Stephen F. Kolzak Award). Comedienne Margaret Cho presided over the ceremony.

All told, winners were revealed for 15 of 33 total categories, which honor media for fair, accurate and inclusive representations of LGBTQ+ people and issues. The remaining winners will be announced at GLAAD’s New York City ceremony on Saturday, May 13. Meanwhile, Thursday’s event — which took place in Los Angeles — will be available to stream on Hulu on Wednesday, April 12.
