GKIDS Sets Mars Express Theatrical Release Date in New Trailer
GKIDS has released a Mars Express trailer and revealed the theatrical release date for the French animated movie as well as the English cast. The film is set to release in select theaters in North America on Friday, May 3.
“In 2200, private detective Aline Ruby and her android partner Carlos Rivera are hired by a wealthy businessman to track down a notorious hacker,” reads the film‘s synopsis. “On Mars, they descend deep into the underbelly of the planet’s capital city where they uncover a darker story of brain farms, corruption, and a missing girl who holds a secret about the robots that threatens to change the face of the universe.”

Who is the English cast of Mars Express?
The English cast for Mars Express includes Morla Gorrondona as Aline Ruby, Kiff VandenHeuvel as Chris Royjacker, Josh Keaton as Carlos Rivera, Sarah Hollis as Roberta Williams, Ben Diskin as Simon Gordeaux, Fiona Jones as Beryl, Jenahpher Zheng as Jun Chow and Jun Chow 2, and Billy Bob Thompson as LEM.
The film was directed by Jérémie Perin, who previously produced and directed various series like CO2, Nini Patalo, and Socks.
