Gizelle Bryant’s Daughter Grace Is Off to College and She Has a Lot of Feelings About It
Gizelle Bryant is officially a FAMU mom. The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member’s eldest daughter, Grace, just headed off for her first year of college at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. And as Gizelle dropped her daughter off at the airport, she was feeling all the feels.
Gizelle is “keeping it all the way real”
In a video that she posted to Instagram on June 23, Gizelle addressed her followers from the airport. The podcast host was wearing a baseball cap and oversize sunglasses, but she wasn’t about to hide her emotions.
“OK, I’m gonna keep it all the way real with y’all,” she said. “I just dropped off my daughter. I’m leaving her for the first time. She is officially a college student. And you know how you pack your suitcase and you’re checking out of a hotel and you’re like, ‘Oh my god, I left my charger in the room’? And you’re like, ‘Is my charger in my bag?’ And you look. And you’re like, ‘Oh my god, I lost my phone, where’s my phone?’ It’s like, feeling like you forgot something. Yeah, I feel like I forgot my child and I need to go back and get her. The struggle bus is real, OK?”
Wiping her nose, Gizelle said, “I’m over here snotting. I’m gonna keep it all the way real: I’ve been snotting. I went to the bathroom, I tried to pull myself together. Who else is feeling what I’m feeling? Moms, talk to your girl. Help me out!”
Real Housewives show some love
Plenty of moms did just that, hopping into the comments to show Gizelle some love. Her castmate Karen Huger, whose daughter, Rayvin, went to Penn State University, wrote, “You got this!”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Porsha Williams, whose daughter, PJ, is 4 years old, commented: “Ugh I can’t imagine. I know that time will come but I’m not going to be ready!!!! Well at least you caught your [breath] to say these words. I would say [that’s] a [win]. You got this.”

Cynthia Bailey, whose daughter, Noelle, spent some time at Howard University, chimed in too. “Yes. I know this feeling very well,” she wrote.

And all the way from Beverly Hills, Kyle Richards commiserated as well. The mother of four, who has already seen three of her daughters off to college, wrote, “This is so hard. Feels like we left half of ourselves behind.”
