Gisele Bündchen and her boyfriend Joaquim Valente have kept their love on the down-low for as long as possible, but they may be inching closer and closer to a full-on public romance! The 43-year-old supermodel’s cookbook event for Nourish: Simple Recipes to Empower Your Body and Feed Your Soul: A Healthy Lifestyle Cookbook seemed to be a safe place for them to soft-launch their relationship.

Valente kept a low profile because it was his girlfriend’s big night at The Hub in Miami Beach. A Page Six source spotted the jiu-jitsu instructor dressed in a navy blue button-down shirt and jeans rushing into the venue at the last minute. He didn’t make his presence known, but he proudly watched Bündchen from the audience as she conducted a Q&A with her fans — and he did get a sweet mention from his girlfriend.
While talking about her exercise regimen and nutrition plan, the fashion icon praised her boyfriend, along with his siblings, Pedro Valente and Gui Valente, for educating her about “food spacing and food combining” for a strong body. At the end of the event, the athlete headed toward the stage with a knowing smile as he approached Bündchen. It was a cute moment from the relatively shy Valente.
The duo might feel more comfortable now that Bündchen has cleared up their dating timeline to The New York Times. They were friends first — strictly platonic — before they moved into a relationship. “That is a lie,” she said of the affair rumors. “I really don’t want to make my life a tabloid. I don’t want to open myself up to all of that.” She also shared some insight into why their romance works so well after her high-profile divorce from Tom Brady.
“This is the first time I am seeing someone that was a friend of mine first,” Bündchen noted. “It’s very different. It is very honest, and it’s very transparent.” It sounds like the supermodel has met her romantic match — and that has to be quite a relief after Brady’s retirement-unretirement era in football. Bündchen and Brady divorced in 2022 after 13 years of marriage.
