Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding calls Celebrity Big Brother "a disaster waiting to happen"

Sarah Harding has opened up about her time on Celebrity Big Brother.
The Girls Aloud star entered the house in 2017 and despite dividing opinion among fans, she still went on to win the reality show.
"Celebrity Big Brother was, for me, a disaster waiting to happen," she wrote in her autobiography Hear Me Out.
"When I try to think back about the reasons I agreed to do the show, I guess I thought it could be a good platform for me to get back in the public eye in a positive way.
"Yes, I knew there were going to be a few tricky characters in the house with me – there always were on the show – but I felt I had something to prove, not just to other people but myself but to myself, too."
She added: "I wanted to prove I could do it. I also went in there intending to show people a different side of me. I'd also been portrayed in the media as this mad, off-the-rails party girl."
Sarah continued: "Maybe this was a way for people to see a more complete picture. I mean, what's the worst that could happen? Famous last words!
"I certainly didn't go on the show looking for fame. I wanted to enjoy the experience. I wanted to to have fun, be as open as I could and show people the real Sarah Harding. So, as always, I wore my heart on my sleeve.
"In the end, this approach didn't do me any favours, and I'm not sure it changed anyone's perception of me either.
"Still, it certainly gave the show's producers the juicy TV they were looking for. I guess that's what Big Brother is all about."
During her time in the house, Sarah entered into a relationship with The Bachelor star Chad Johnson, and had some fiery rows with Ex on the Beach's Jemma Lucy.
Sarah recently revealed she'd been diagnosed with breast cancer, and hopes releasing her autobiography will help people spot the signs of the disease.
Sarah Harding's autobiography Hear Me Out is released on Thursday, March 18 from retailers including Amazon, bookshop.org, Book Depository, Foyles, Hive, WHSmith, Waterstones and Wordery.
