Gillie Da Kid Claps Back At Birdman: “I’m Bigger Than You”

Gillie Da Kid has responded to Birdman questioning his street credibility while speaking on their relationship and Gillie’s time with Cash Money Records.
On Tuesday (Oct. 10), the Philly native took to Instagram Live to lash out at the mogul, who recently appeared on Clubhouse with Wack 100. Birdman accused the Million Dollaz Worth of Game cohost of not bringing him any profits during his tenure on the label. Gillie also addressed the New Orleans native’s claims that he was “not like that” and that he had been accosted by Beanie Sigel in their hometown.
“My whole thing is, why Birdman wait so long to say something, man?” the renowned podcaster said. “I can’t even respond when you say something 25 years later. It’s like, what we talking about, man? You only responding because you don’t hear the roar of the crowd no more.”
Gillie then suggested that he’s a bigger draw and more of a profitable commodity than the veteran executive at this point in their careers. “I’m bigger than Baby. Ain’t that crazy? I’m bigger than that ni**a right now. I generate more money than that ni**a right now. I don’t wanna hear that sh*t. Ni**as is counting me out. I’m bigger than you, ni**a. Shut up. Nobody give a f**k about you right now.”
The Major Figgas leader continued, boasting that he’d denigrated Birdman on numerous occasions with no prior repercussions or response. He stated, “I’ve done called you a bi**h-a** ni**a for 25 years. 25 years later you respond. Sit your bi**h-a** down somewhere. Shut up. It took you 25 years to get some heart to say, ‘I ain’t like that.’ F**king coward. You on Clubhouse at 50 talking sh*t. Shut your bi**h-a** up, boy. Nobody care about you no more. You old news. Brrrr!”
Birdman responded to prior comments made by Gillie in a scathing interview with Wack 100, during which he said he lost “all respect” for Gillie after allegedly witnessing him cower in the presence of fellow Philly rapper Beanie Sigel.
“We was in Philly at a store and we was shopping,” the 54-year-old told the West Coast native. “And Beanie [Sigel] come in the store, grabbed him, walked him outside. And he had a blicky on him. We all got blickies on us. I got 100 ni**as with me. But a ni**a brought him outside and a ni**a whoop-whooped and he ain’t doing nothing. I lost all respect for him and then I stopped f**king with him.”
