Gillian Turner has been promoted to a dual role as anchor and State Department and foreign policy correspondent.

Turner will cover international and domestic issues at the State Department.

She joined Fox News in 2014 as a contributor, then was promoted to correspondent in 2018. She covered stories including the indictment of former President Donald Trump and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. She has served as a substitute anchor on Fox News Sunday, Special Report, America’s Newsroom and America Reports. She also anchored special coverage of the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel.

Turner previously was vice president of Jones Group International and worked with former National Security Adviser Jim Jones, who served during the Barack Obama administration from 2009 to 2010. She previously worked in the White House National Security Council during the administrations of Obama and George W. Bush. She received the National Security Council Outstanding Service Award for her work during the Bush administration as a research assistant in the Office of the National Security Adviser.
