Gigi Hadid Tells Ellen DeGeneres About Her Relationship With Zayn Malik
One of Gigi Hadid’s dreams came true as she made her first guest appearance on Ellen. Host Ellen DeGeneres asked the young model about her romance with singer and former One Direction star Zayn Malik.
“We actually met at a friend’s birthday party a few years ago,” Hadid said. “He was in New York to come to the Victoria’s Secret Show last year, I think, and ended up not coming, and I was like, ‘I’ll play it cool. I’ll go to the after-party.’ He wasn’t there.”
“Later that week, we ended up going on our first date,” Hadid continued. “And when y’all finally got together was he playing it cool like you were playing cool?” asked DeGeneres. “We played it cool for like, 10 minutes, and then I was like, ‘You’re really cute.’” Hadid admitted, laughing. “We connected really quickly.”
