Gigi Hadid Teases a Project With Designer Ken Fulk in Cryptic Instagram Post
It looks like supermodel and new mom Gigi Hadid has yet another project up her sleeve—and this time with a familiar name to design lovers. Last week, Hadid shared a cryptic post to her Instagram that seems to tease a project between her and celebrity designer Ken Fulk.
In the post, Hadid, who posed in an all-cream ensemble against an unassuming black desk writes, "@kenfulk studio visit … 🎬 coming soon ;)" Fulk commented on the image with the hashtag "#bestday." Though Hadid hasn't said anything further about what, exactly, is "coming soon," it seems like we can expect some sort of video collaboration at the very least, based on the clapperboard emoji she uses in the caption. Fulk also shared a similar image to his Instagram with the tease. "#KenGi ? #GiKen ? Stay tuned for more with the fabulous @gigihadid," he writes. What does this all mean?!
While a new pad designed by Ken Fulk would be fun to see, that seems unlikely given that last year, Hadid famously revealed her bold NYC apartment on Instagram. Then again, celebs do tend to move frequently (not to mention own multiple properties!), so anything could happen!
Though the maximalist apartment (and specifically its rainbow pasta cabinets) famously drew mixed responses from fans, it also revealed the model's previously unknown passion for interior design. "Spent all of last year designing and curating my passion project," she wrote in a post revealing it. Hadid also took to Instagram last year to share photos of her daughter Khai's nursery, which seems to also have been designed by her.
Fulk, a maximalist himself, has spent the last 25 years designing not only homes but restaurants, jets, hotels, and more. The designer has also lent his talents to event planning, where he's served as creative director for major birthdays, dinners, anniversaries, family getaways, and...weddings. While I might be getting ahead of myself here, I can't help but wonder if these cryptic posts allude to a big event (like a wedding, perhaps?) that Fulk could be designing.
