Gigi Hadid’s Complete Dating History: From Cody Simpson to Zayn Malik

Gigi Hadid's romance with Zayn Malik was not the first — nor would it be the last — time that the supermodel's love life grabbed everyone's attention.

Hadid's first major relationship in the public eye was with Cody Simpson. The pair dated on and off for two years before calling it quits for good in May 2015. Hadid briefly dated Joe Jonas in 2015 before moving on with Malik that November.

"We try not to think about [dating in the spotlight] too much,” Malik exclusively told Us Weekly in September 2017. “There are a lot of people who are too busy in other people’s lives. I just concentrate on my relationship and try to do right by my girlfriend and she does by me, and we hope for the best, as we all do!”

Hadid and Malik’s relationship, however, eventually came to an end. “Zayn and Gigi have silently separated,” a source exclusively told Us in October 2021. “They’d been having problems for a while and tried to figure them out, but it just wasn’t working.”
