Tommy DeVito is making nice after a local New Jersey pizzeria complained that his agent doubled the price for an autograph appearance.

DeVito, the 25-year-old New York Giants quarterback, has become one of the NFL’s biggest feel-good stories this season after replacing both the team’s injured starter Daniel Jones and his backup Tyrod Taylor midway through the year.

The undrafted rookie, who still lives with his parents in Cedar Grove, New Jersey, quickly became a fan favorite after leading the Giants to three-straight wins as teammates dubbed him “Tommy Cutlets,” in homage to his Italian heritage.

But a public tiff between DeVito’s agent Sean Stellato and the New Jersey-based Coniglio's Old Fashioned pizzeria threatened to cut down some of the goodwill the quarterback had built up with his hometown in recent weeks.

That is, until DeVito made amends Tuesday afternoon when he showed up at the shop for an unpaid appearance and owner Nino Coniglio sat down with him for a slice. The pizzeria shared an image of DeVito and Coniglio smiling together and holding up the quarterback’s now-iconic Italian pinched fingers celebration.

“Nothing but love,” the story post read.

The appearance almost didn’t happen, according to Coniglio, who announced he was canceling the event earlier in the week after he claimed Stellato, DeVito’s agent, told the pizza shop his client’s fee had doubled from $10,000 to $20,000 after he led the Giants to a dramatic come-from-behind victory against the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football last week.

Stellato then told sports reporter Darren Rovell that the pizzeria’s statement wasn’t accurate.

“It’s a shame that the restaurant promoted that they would have Tommy when we didn’t have a signed contract,” Stellato told Rovell. “We didn’t raise the price because nothing was ever agreed to.”

In another response via Rovell, Coniglio then said the store and DeVito had “agreed in principle to terms — two hours, 250 autographs and $10,000, and then the agent couldn't be reached.”

“He reached back out after Monday's game to tell us the price was now $20,000,” the store owner told Rovell, according to ESPN.

But all’s well that ends well, and a slice usually does the trick.

Coniglio's shop shared a handful of photos on Instagram from DeVito’s visit that showed the quarterback had smoothed things over by popping by Tuesday. In one photo shared to Instagram, DeVito even held Coniglio’s baby while the store owner smiled alongside.

“Thanks for stopping by & making it right @tommydevito,” the Coniglios wrote.
