Giada De Laurentiis' Most Adorable Moments with Her Lookalike Daughter, Jade

Giada De Laurentiis and her only child, Jade, 15, savor every minute together.

The Italian foodie has been proudly sharing her motherly love since Jade — whom De Laurentiis shares with ex Todd Thompson — was just a little girl appearing on De Laurentiis' Food Network series. Today, De Laurentiis is still celebrating her daughter every chance she gets, posting videos and photos of the teen on social media and gushing about her in interviews.

Just Like Mom

Jade might not be an expert in the kitchen yet — the teen once described her culinary skills at the level of making "boxed mac and cheese" — but she's definitely getting good practice at home. Giada's daughter has made several cooking cameos on her mom's Instagram page, making dishes alongside De Laurentiis and on her own.

In one Instagram Reel, Jade baked an elaborate chocolate strawberry cake for the Giadzy founder's birthday. "My heart is so full!😭🥹❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️," De Laurentiis captioned the video.

Growing Up Together

Now that Jade's in high school, De Laurentiis is guiding her daughter through so major life milestones, like learning to drive. In August 2023, the culinary expert spoke to PEOPLE about teaching her mini-me to drive, and how it feels like the "the first big step before college."

“It’s so stressful,” she said. “It's so emotional to watch your child grow up like this, and I feel like driving is such a big step.”

Always a Good Time

The mother-daughter duo always manages to have fun together, whether they're at home or on vacation, like their January 2023 getaway to N.Y.C. De Laurentiis shared a look at their holiday highlights, which included dining out, seeing Funny Girl on Broadway and taking in the view of the lit Rockefeller Christmas Tree.

Fun in the Sun

The mother-daughter duo traveled upstate this past spring for BottleRock music festival in Napa, California. De Laurentiis shared a stylish photo snapped with her daughter up at the event, echoing the sentiments of many proud parents in her Instagram caption: "She’s growing up too fast!! 🥲"

Girl Power

It wasn't long ago when Jade was just a little girl appearing on Giada at Home. In honor of International Women's Day, De Laurentiis posted a throwback of Jade — young and wearing braces — dressed in a "Power to the Girls" t-shirt.

"#happyinternationalwomensday to my #1 ♥️," Mom captioned her reflective Instagram. "Jadey I’m so proud of the young woman you’ve become!"

Celebrate Good Times

The mother-daughter duo also appeared to celebrate De Laurentiis' 53rd birthday this year with a mountain of doughnuts, per the TV hostess' Instagram.

Formative Years

Last autumn, De Laurentiis shared that Jade was swiftly coming into her own as a high schooler. The Italian chef detailed her her then-freshman started at a new school that follows a "less academic and more artsy" curriculum, and Jade was already enjoying the nurturing community.

"I think that she's found her people. It's so wonderful to see that in high school," De Laurentiis said of her daughter at the time. "She's really enjoying herself."

All Together Now

De Laurentiis and her ex Todd Thompson often team up to celebrate their only child's milestone moments, like in June 2022, when the former spouses posed with Jade at her middle school graduation.

This November, Thompson and De Laurentiis even collaborated and uploaded a joint Instagram post of Jade singing in her school musical. The hashtag in their video's caption, "#Proudparents," spoke for itself.

Mini-Me Moment

In July 2022, De Laurentiis shared a summer memory with her mini-me at camp. The cookbook author could have passed for Jade's sister with their twin denim shorts, cropped shirts and t-shirts.

Blended Family

Jade also spends quality time with her mom's boyfriend, Shane Farley. The trio has traveled around the world together, from New York to Italy to Las Vegas, and bonded at home, too.
